中国独立动画电影论坛（以下简称论坛）是中国内地首次非官方、非营利，由民间机构共同发起、策划的动画电影艺术项目。
自2011起由独立动画导演皮三首次发起，至今论坛成功举办了四届，五年来一直秉承鼓励原创独立动画创作与交流的准则，旨在整理和扶持独立动画，并在相应的产业环境和艺术条件下给予重要支持。
第五届论坛主题定为“引力波”，由独立动画导演雷磊和陈莲华担任策划人。
独立动画就像一场引力波，不间断散发的魅力，吸引更多的人前来驻足。发现动画的快感来源于精神的共鸣与回应，像接通电源的两极点亮内心的世界。独立动画是独立思考以及探索精神，天马行空的想像力以及对自我的反思。
独立思考就在我的心中，闭上眼睛就可以看见，这是我们的小宇宙。
竞赛单元作为论坛的重要组成部分，面向社会征集优秀作品。本次征集依然本着开放和多样性的原则，对题材、类型和形式不做任何的限制，欢迎一切有趣味、有想象力、有创造力，具有独立思考的动画作品。
所有征集作品将通过评委遴选，论坛将对入围作品及作者进行专访报道等宣传和推广，并有机会推荐参与国内外知名动画电影节，推荐参加展览和交流，与重要机构、企业进行合作。
征集作品时间
2016年6月1日—2016年8月21日

论坛大奖、论坛基金奖、今敏奖、学生作品大奖、特设奖、评委推荐奖
作品提交规则
1、CIAFF不收取任何报名费用。
2、作品应为逐帧动画，包括电脑绘图动画。
3、作品内容题材不限，时长在30分钟以内。
4、作品应完成于2014年8月21日以后，并且该作品过去不曾参加过本竞赛。
5、未授权的内容，剧本，音乐等不得用于作品中。否则将导致失去参赛资格。
6、在其他电影节中已获得奖项的仍然可以参赛，但需在报名表中列出所有获奖情况。
7、只要达到上述条件，同一参赛者可提交多部作品参赛。
8、参赛者需提交：
（1）报名表（关注微信公众号，回复“报名”即可获得）
（2）导演简历、照片（5M左右，JPEG/PNG，300dpi）
（3）作品海报、作品截图（3张，单张5M左右，JPEG/PNG，300dpi），版权信息。
（4）影片作品。（拷贝格式可以是预览版本，格式可采用MOV、AVI、MP4、或WMV。作品分辨率不得小于720p，并尽量采用低压缩或无损压缩方式。暂不接受DCP文件。）
（5）语言、字幕：有旁白或对白的影片请添加英文字幕。中文作品请添加中英文双语字幕。
9、截止日期：组委会官方作品征集截止日期是2016年8月21日。邮寄作品按照当地邮戳时间为准。请在规定时间内投递，逾期将失去参加资格。

The China Independent Animation Film Forum (hereinafter referred to as the CIAFF) is the first animation film art project in mainland China and its unofficial, non-profit, co-sponsored by some private agencies.
It was authored by the independent animation director Pi San in 2011 and it has been hold successfully for four years. For the past five years, the CIAFF is always adhering to pull for the creation and communication of original independent animation with the purpose of better organizing and supporting original independent animation and give important support in correlated artificial conditions.
The theme of the 5th CIAFF is “Gravitational Wave”, is curated by Lei Lei and Chen Lianhua.
Independent animation is just like the gravitational wave, it’s endless charm have attracted more and more people. The pleasure of finding animation derived from the spiritual resonance and communication, just like you construct a bipolar power supply in your deep mind, and then light up your inner world. Independent animation represents independent thinking, the spirit of exploration, wild imagination and self-reflection.
Independent spirit is in the back of our mind, close your eyes, and you will see it. This is our tiny universe.
Competition all owed any category. The CIAFF is still hold the principle of openness and diversity of subjects, there is no limitation for the type of materials, welcomes all animation works with the spirit of interesting, imaginative, creative, independent thinking.
The juries will be selected to review films for the Competition. The CIAFF would make reports about the finalists to promote theauthors and their works. And opportunities are offered to be recommended to participate in international well-known animation festivals, recommended to take part in exhibitions and to cooperate with important institutions and enterprises.

Submission Requirements
A. No entry fee is required.
B. The entry work should be made in “frame by frame”, including computer graphics animation.（Anyshooting styles are allowed）
C. There is no limitation for the type ofmaterials, and running time should within 30 minutes.
D. The works should be completed after August 21, 2014. Do not use the same work which had been submitted to us before to enter the competition any more.
E. Copyrighted characters, scripts, music, etc., cannot be used in the work without the copyright owner’s agreement. Failure to obtain such agreement will result in the work being disqualified from competition.
F. The work which has already been awarded prizes at other festivals is eligible. In this case, a listing of all awards and prizes received must be fully indicated in the entry form.
G. Once meet with conditions above, the same participant is allowed to submit many works as you want.

5. Language, subtitle: If film has narration ordialogue, please add English subtitles. If narration or dialogue is in Chinese, please add Chinese and English subtitles.
