方璐（Fang Lu）
简历
方璐，1981年出生于广州，现工作生活于北京。
方璐于2005年在美国纽约视觉艺术学院获平面设计学士学位，2007年获美国旧金山艺术学院新类型系的硕士学位。她曾在北京空间站（2010年），广州博尔赫斯书店当代艺术机构（2011年）举办个展。她的作品在深圳雕塑双年展（2012年）、中央美术学院美术馆“未来展”（2012年）、里斯本东方基金会博物馆（2011年）、旧金山的Walter & Mcbean画廊（2008年）、麻省当代艺术家中心（2004年）等地方展出。方璐是录像局的共同创始人之一，这是位于北京和广州的独立录像档案机构。
Fang Lu born in Guangzhou China in 1981. Now lives and works in Beijing.
She received her BFA from Graphic Design department at School of Visual Art in New York in 2005, and MFA from the New Genres department at the San Francisco Arts Institute in 2007. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Space Station, Beijing (2010), Borges Libreria Institute of Contemporary Art, Guangzhou (2011); and in group exhibitions such as the Shenzhen Sculpture Biennial (2012), CAFAM Future Exhibition (2012), and in Museu do Oriente in Lisbon (2011), Walter & Mcbean Gallery in San Francisco (2008), Contemporary Artist Center in Massachusetts (2004) and other places. She is co-founder of Video Bureau, an independent video archive resource in Beijing and Guangzhou.

艺术家作品
......《腐朽》的显著之处正是中心人物坚定的一动不动，而观众见证了一个结结实实的堆积过程。一位年轻模特静止地在录像中坐了十六分钟，各种各样生的、熟的食物被摆到她的头上、胳膊上、腿上。这个精细的食物准备和装饰过程是实时呈现的，将观众驱向一个随着时间慢慢流逝而加重的物质堆积过程。还有，正如题目所暗示的，《腐朽》指出了这些有机材料自身的有效期限，而人类的肉身也是如此。

...Rotten, is marked by an unwavering stillness on behalf of the central figure and viewers are witness to a steady process of accumulation. A young model sits motionless on screen for sixteen minutes while various raw and cooked foods are applied to her head, arms and legs. The elaborate process of food preparation and adornment unfolds in real-time, subjecting viewers to an accretion of materials that simultaneously weighs upon the slow passage of time. And still, as the title implies, Rotten points to the expiration date built into such organic materials as well as the human body itself.
